Take Ownership

We must take ownership of our lives, countries, communities and cultures.

This week my theme is all is about ownership. When you have ownership you are in charge, you are in control. No one can dictate the rules to you when you have complete ownership of your property, business, or situation. Ownership means the buck stops with you.

When I was about 21 years old I was living under my parent’s roof, and you know the rules. When you live under your parents’ roof you have to abide by your parents rules. Why? In part because they own the property. Once I got out and got my own apartment I made the rules of my home. As a home owner you actually have ownership of your property. The concept I am communicating is that having your own home means you own it. You make the rules, You have the control.

This same rule applies to our lives, work and business.

Do you see the power of taking ownership?

That means you make the rules, you don't have to go buy your parents' rules anymore, now it's YOUR rules. This same concept applies to business and when we're in control we have the power to make changes (or not) as we see fit. I'm also seeing the importance of taking ownership over situations and circumstances in life and business. This gives us tremendous power to move our lives and businesses (and whatever circumstance, entity, or situation) in the direction necessary for success. You don't have to ask for the boss’s approval because you are the boss.

This is a very powerful concept that I wanted to communicate today. So that being said, take ownership and be an owner of your family, self, community and entity (or whatever else) you need to take ownership of and guide it to success.
